In his first hearing before the prosecutor, ‘The Twin’ confessed having been part of the Self-Defense Forces of Colombia (AUC) since 1995, but stressed his only job as paramilitary commander was to monthly deliver 500 million pesos (US$ 267 thousand) to his bosses.The former commander of the AUC’s Vencedores bloc did confess his participation in two massacres in the east of the country.
