Ten people die in Gaujira road accident

The indigenous people were in an open truck, normally used to transport salt, when the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed on the road between Uribia and Manaure. An unknown number of people got wounded and were taken to nearby hospitals.The Guajira desert in the north east of Colombia, bordering Venezuela, is rich of salt and inhabited by the indigenous Wayú tribe.
