Ten million peso reward for information on Arauca attack

Colombia’s National Police are offering a ten million peso (US$5000) reward
for information that leads to the arrest of those responsible for the
attack on a police patrol in Arauca that killed eight policemen Friday.

To restore its authority in the region, the police also offered a 2 million peso reward (US$1000) for information that leads to the arrest of any guerrilla that intends to commit terrorist attacks.

A roadside bomb killed eight policemen near Fortul, Arauca Friday. The bomb was detonated at the moment their patrol passed. One policeman survived the attack.
