Supreme Court to investigate another corruption scandal

Boxes with information supposedly incriminating congressmen and local politicians in a new national public works corruption scandal have arrived at the Supreme Court, W Radio reported Thursday.

The Supreme Court is apparently setting up a unit of auxiliary judges to analyze the information in the reports. It is expected that in the coming months the court will make determinations about this new scandal.

The news comes as the country is already investigating multiple corruption scandals involving the health sector, the awarding of public works contracts within Bogota and the agriculture subsidy scheme.
