Spectacular Cirque du Soleil to perform in Bogota

Tickets went on sale on Thursday to see the world-famous Cirque du Soliel, who are bringing their show “Quidam” to Bogota.

The dazzling show, self-described as a mix of circus acts and street performances, will be performing in the capital city’s Salitre Mágico venue between October and November.

The widely renowned and popular spectacle, which attracts huge crowds wherever it goes, is currently undertaking a South American tour, visiting many of the continents capital cities.

Cirque du Soleil organizers announced an extension to its season in Bogota due to high demand for tickets, and will now be performing in the capital between October 31 and November 21.

Ticket prices range between COP80,000 and COP360,000 and may be purchased from website Tuboleta.

Fans of the acrobatic spectacle will also have a chance to see members of the Cirque du Soleil perform in Colombia this month, as part of the Bogota International Cultural Fair.

Cirque du Soleil is confirmed to perform at Bogota’s main exposition center the Corferias on June 24 and 25.

The show will be one of the star attractions at the cultural fair, which will feature more than 100 international shows, including a performance by Argentina electro-tango group Tanguetto and a fashion parade by reknowned designer Oscar de la Renta.
