Sofia Vergara has denied claims that she will strip down for an animal rights campaign, local news reported on Thursday.
The actress wasted no time in dismissing rumors published on Wednesday that she would appear in-the-buff in a a series of photos for a new campaign by the People for the Ethnical Treatment of Animals (PETA) that would protest the use of animal skins in designer clothing and products, Colombia’s El Espectador newspaper reported.

To the disappointment of many, Vergara tweeted that the rumor that she would do her first naked shoot for a good cause “is a lie,” the Baranquilla-born celebrity wrote on Wednesday afternoon.
