Colombian actress Sofia Vergara will host popular American television show Saturday Night Live next month.
The actress and model from Barranquilla will host the show April 7 with musical guest One Direction.
Vergara is one of the most successful Latin Americans in Hollywood and was recently nominated for her role in the hit show Modern Family.
