Sofia Vergara will channel her inner alien in her upcoming movie, “Escape from Planet Earth”.
Out in theaters on February 15th, Sofia Vergara is promoting her latest project “Escape from Planet Earth,” an animated 3-D children’s movie. Fresh off a Modern Family SAG award win and attending the Superbowl in New Orleans, Vergara is back to work in Los Angeles promoting her upcoming movie release.
“Certainly there was awareness of the (Latino) community, but the actors just fit the roles,” Cal Brunker, director and co-writer of “Escape from Planet Earth” said about casting Vergara, Lopez and Alba.
