Colombian model and actress Sofia Vergara will be starring in ABC’s new sitcom Modern Family? alongside actor Ed O’Neill.
Vergara’s new series will premiere on American television on September 23.
The Barranquilla-born beauty’s bilinguality in Spanish and English ensured a smooth entry into the US entertainment market, appearing on TV shows such as Entourage and Dirty Sexy Money, as well as starring in the Colombian version of Desperate Housewives. She has also starred in films such as The 24th Hour and Lords of Dogtown.
