Sofia Vergara loses out on 2013 People’s Choice Award

Colombia’s resident TV hottie, Sofia Vergara, on Wednesday missed out on a People’s Choice Award for her role in Modern Family.

The 40-year-old Colombian-born actress was beaten out for best comedic actress by Glee-star, Lea Michele.

Vergara has played Gloria in the hit TV show since it first aired in late 2009. Since then, she has been nominated for a Golden Globe award and six Screen Actors Guild (SAG) awards. Out of the six nominations, Vergara took home SAG awards in 2010 and 2011.

The Colombian-hottie will have to wait until January 13 to find out is she has picked up the Golden Globe.
