Sofia Vergara looking for $6B to help Colombia

Colombian actress Sofia Vergara is asking for donations for the victims of floods in her home country.

The bombshell from the ABC sitcom “Modern Family” announced her involvement in efforts to provide relief to the more than 2 million flood victims on the Late Show of David Letterman on Tuesday and has since then a link on her website leading to a page on the Red Cross website where people can donate.

According to Vergara, she hopes to gather $6 billion as that is what the Colombian government estimates it needs to repair the damages caused by the rainy season.
