Sofia Vergara has split from Nick Loeb, her boyfriend of over two years, reported U.S. daily the New York Post.
The couple supposedly called it quits over the weekend following a series of arguments.
Sources close to Vergara told the paper that the pair has been “fighting a lot recently and have been on the brink of splitting many times.”
Rumors of the break-up began to circulate when the Colombian bombshell attended a Monday night gala in New York alone, where she is said to have confided in friends about ending her relationship with Loeb.
The relationship supposedly waned due to the pressure of Vergara’s increasing fame and popularity, another source told the New York Post.
Loeb, who considered running for Florida state senate in 2011, is the son of John Loeb Jr. who served as ambassador to Denmark under President Reagan. He is also a member of the prominent Lehman family.
Before Loeb, Vergara dated Canadian actor Donal Logue in 2007, British singer Craig David in 2003 and has been linked with Tom Cruise and Tyrese Gibson.
