Six die in north Colombia bus accident

Six people died and another fourteen were injured when the bus they were in crashed into a truck in the northern Colombian department of Sucre.

According to the police, the accident took place on a road between the towns San Pedro and Magangue, close to the Caribbean coast, and was caused by careless driving by one of the drivers.

Four of the victims died immediately, another two died after being taken to local hospitals.

Authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fatal crash.
