Six bodies of river Cauca bus accident found

Rescue workers found three more dead bodies of twelve people who went missing after their bus fell off the Medellin – Manizales road and into the
river Cauca. Six deadly victims are now recovered.

Almost 30 miles downstream from where the bus went off the road, rescue workers discovered three more bodies. Earlier Monday and Tuesday, rescue workers were able to recover the first three bodies.

The family identified two of them. One of the bodies is Diego Raul Ortiz, father of five children who were also on the bus. The other body is his sister Virgelina Ortiz.

The only survivor, the
40-year-old wife of Diego Raul Ortiz, is receiving special care to help her deal with the tragedy.
