Shakira smells the fairest of them all

Colombian superstar Shakira gets more than a whiff of success as her perfume Elixir was named the best fragrance for women at the Perfume Academy Awards in Madrid Tuesday.

The sweet-smelling popstar said she was “delighted and honored” to receive the award and added she was “so proud of what we have achieved with the fragrance of Elixir,” which was evidently inspired by Shakira’s “most sensual and exotic moves.”

While Colombia Reports was not able to get its hands on a bottle of Elixir, according to the perfume’s website by dousing yourself in the award-winning scent you will be taken “on a journey into a hypnotic world wrapped in desire and Shakira’s most powerful femininity.” Probably best not to wear it to work then.

The perfume was described by one gushing fan as smelling like a “powdered or regular plain donut”

So if a sexy-hip-gyrating-donut scent is what you are looking for, Elixir is the answer to all your desires.
