Shakira in sex-tape scandal (again)

Two former employees of the Colombian singer allegedly offered Spanish media a video of Shakira  “having sex on the high seas.”

The tape supposedly shows Shakira and her FC Barcelona footballer boyfriend, Gerard Pique, having sex on a boat.

Spanish magazine Interviu has reported that the video is in the hands of a man and a woman suspected of being the singer’s disgruntled former employees who have accused Shakira of unfair dismissal and were evidently trying to blackmail her.

The couple contacted a celebrity manager in Barcelona and met with him to show him the tape.

“The video lasts about 15 minutes. I guess it’s recorded with a mobile phone by an employee who was in the cockpit of the boat. Shakira, in a bikini, goes down into the cabin and Pique is with her. They have some drinks and then start a game of touch, something romantic, and then… let’s say it overflows a bit,” said the manager who has not been named.

The 15-minute video is being offered to the highest bidder with some reports claiming a figure of up to $310,000 is being asked.

The manager however, is skeptical about the authenticity of the tape. “It looks like a woman who they say is Shakira is practicing oral sex on a man, but it is indistinguishable. I thought that t had been edited,” said the manager.

The Colombian couple, who worked for Shakira for 11 years said they were dismissed for refusing to cook the singer a meal in the middle of the night. They refused to sign the dismissal contract saying that their removal was illegal and unfair.

Shakira’s lawyers denounced all the accusations made by the former employees, but have not made any comment so far on the alleged sex-tape.

RCN radio have also suggested that Antonio de la Rua, who the singer left to start her relationship with the Barcelona footballer could be behind everything, but these claims have not been backed up.
