Colombian superstars Shakira and Sofia Vergara will both appear on the “Late Show with David Letterman” on Thursday.

Letterman will interview actress Sofia Vergara about the start of the second season of “Modern Family,” and singer Shakira will be promoting her new album “The Sun Comes Out.”

Alongside the two Barranquilla-born women, James Franco, star of the movie “Howl,” will also be a guest on the show.
