Shakira and Fergie to shoot music video togther

by Ashley Hamer December 29, 2009

Colombian superstar Shakira is expected to shoot the video for her upcoming single ‘Long Time’ with former Black Eyed Peas front-girl Fergie.

Dispelling rumors of their supposed difference of opinion the two platinum selling artists put forth a united front in Los Angeles recently, to perform a short Christmas glimpse of the video for Shakira’s new single ‘Long Time’, reported news site Terra Tuesday.

With regard to impending plans, Jake Nava – man behind the production of Shakira’s mind-pooping video for ‘She Wolf’ – stated that “the two women are authentic sex bombs, but the idea is to do something more suggestive and insinuating, nothing implicit, but who knows!”

Shakira commented on her friendship with Fergie – whom the singer has often been compared to – and stated that “I sometimes do not understand why there is a need to compare you to others.”

Shakira added “I do not think that I resemble Fergie on stage at all, neighter is our music the same.”
