Shakira accused of copying British supermodel’s pole dance moves

Shakira has been accused of plagiarism again, this time for allegedly copying pole dance moves from British model Kate Moss in her new music video.

The Colombian pop singer showed off her sexy dance moves in the video for her newest single “Rabiosa,” which was released earlier in the week, but communications media sources have insisted that the moves were not actually hers after all.

The sources stated that the Barranquilla native copied both Kate Moss’ sensual movements and the model’s style of dress from her role in U.S. rock band The White Stripes’ music video “I Just Don’t Know What To Do With Myself.”

Shakira has not yet given comment regarding the accusations, and “Rabiosa” continues to blow up on the internet.

The singer has been caught up in legal controversies a number of times in the past, most recently for failing to give Reggaeton arist Ñejo proper credit for his participation as singer and author of some of the lyrics of her song “Loca.”
