Sizzling Colombian actress Sofia Vergara was spotted on the Smurfs set in Brooklyn on Monday, looking anything but blue in a sexy black skirt and her famously sultry smile.
Vergara will play Odile, a powerful executive at a luxurious French cosmetic company, and the wife of the main live-action character played by Neil Patrick Harris.
The movie, based on the popular 80s cartoon series, combines CGI (computer generated imagery) with live action and is directed by Raja Gosnell, the artist behind such cinematic gems as Scooby Doo and Bevery Hills Chihuahua.
The infinite wisdom of Papa Smurf will be attempted by the voice of Jonathan Winters, George Lopez will lend his gruff to the voice of Grouchy Smurf, while Katy Perry will coquet the crowd as Smurfette.
A live-action Gargamel, the bane and terror of every smurfs’ existance, will be played by Hank Azaria.
The Smurfs is set to hit theaters in the U.S. on August 3, 2011.
