Drive-by spitter terrorises Medellin

by Camilla Pease-Watkin March 25, 2010

Rainy season should soon be arriving in Colombia, but for women in Bello, north Medellin, it’s not the clouds they have to worry about getting a shower from… it’s the motorbike-riding serial spitter that lurks in the area.

According to reports, the hocking hoodlum haunts the streets of Bello, seeking out women to shower with spittle.

A victim of the repugnant crime described the experience as highly disturbing.

“I was waiting for bus route 283 … Suddenly the guy on his bike crossed the road and approached me. I gave way thinking he would pass, and he spat in my face,” the women recalled, “I can’t forget the look of satisfaction on his face after he spat on me, he was laughing…”

And she’s not the only victim to have come forward – the delinquent has spat on several females in the area.

Police are looking for a white male on a motorbike.
