Security forces kill 3 ‘FARC’ in southwest Colombia

Colombian authorities killed three alleged FARC members during a military operation in southwest Colombia, reported local media Tuesday.

The Nariño Department offensive targetted a rebel base and also resulted in the capture of another three guerrillas and the seizure of arms, explosives, a laptop and a hard disk, according to reports.

Troops found housing for up to 18 guerillas in 11 cabins at the small encampment.
