Santos to speak at Ivy League university

Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos will give a lecture at Brown University, in Providence, Rhode Island, according the university’s website.

The Colombian Head of State will give the 84th Stephen A Ogden Jr. lecture on International Affairs. It is entitled ‘Why people should give more than a damn about Latin America’.

The lecture is scheduled to take place on Tuesday April 5 at 6:30PM however registration for the event has closed as no more seats are available.

Santos did not earn any of his degrees at this institution, instead studying at another Ivy League college, Harvard University as well as the London School of Economics and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
