Santos meets with Clinton in Brazil

Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos briefly met with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton while both were attending the inauguration of Brazil’s new President Dilma Rousseff Saturday.

According to the website of the Colombian president, Santos and Clinton met informally.

In the brief chat, the U.S. Secretary of State “showed interest in the situation in Colombia and stated she was very pleased with the evolution of the country’s foreign policy,” said the website.
