96% of votes counted, Santos has 46%

According to the 20th bulletin released by Colombia’s Registry Office, “Uribista” candidate Juan Manuel Santos has 46.58% of the 14,303,233 votes counted so far, while Green Party candidate Antanas Mockus has 21.50%.

The votes of 96% of all polling stations have been counted so far.

Santos has held the lead in the last ten bulletins published by the registry.

Cambio Radical candidate German Vargas Lleras is faring better than voter polls predicted with 10.17% of the votes counted so far. The former Uribista is followed by Polo Democratico’s Gustavo Petro with 9.18%, then Conservative Party candidate Noemi Sanin with 6.12% and Liberal Party candidate Rafael Pardo with 4.32%.
