Real Madrid is leading the race against Liverpool and Manchester City to woo Radamel Falcao from Monaco, according to international media.
Rumors have been flying through international media concerning Falcao’s departure from French AS Monaco.
On Thursday, the Colombian striker was believed to end up in Liverpool, replacing Luis Suarez who transferred to Barcelona. British newspaper The Independent reported him being close to signing a loan contract with Liverpool, but the rumor-winds are changing direction.
The Guardian and Mail Online are now predicting Falcao’s return to Madrid, but this time wearing a white Galactico jersey.
According to the Guardian, Falcao himself is favoring a transfer to Madrid, where he played for Atletico Madrid for two successful seasons.
Discussions about Falcao’s loan to Liverpool have not gone further, and a deal with Real Madrid should be close to being signed, the Guardian reported. According to the latest rumors he is apparently destined to seal the deal with Real Madrid, where his fellow Colombian James Rodriguez recently had his first training session.
