Rojas says government hasn’t kept promise about reward

‘Rojas’, the guerrilla that killed FARC commander Ivan Ríos before
demobilizing says the Colombian government hasn’t given him the promised reward for killing his boss. Instead he is in jail for things he denies being guilty of.

Rojas’ lawyer sent a letter written by Rojas to Colombian media.

The demobilized guerrilla, who is currently kept in the La Picota prison in Bogotá, writes there already have been two attempts to kill him and instead of receiving the promised reward he is imprisoned and investigated for crimes he never committed.

‘Rojas’ denounced that his family does not receive any protection from possible FARC retaliation and claims to have fully cooperated with Colombian authorities.
