Barranquilla robbers use foam to intoxicate victims at carnaval

Eight people ended up in Barranquilla hospitals last weekend for what
seems Scopolamine intoxication. Robbers allegedly used a poisoned foam
to intoxicate their victims.

Most victims were between 15 and 18 years old and only remember seeing men with white spray cans. All were robbed of their money and belongings, Barranquilla newspaper El Heraldo reported Tuesday.

Scopolamine is a popular drug among Colombian robbers, who intoxicate their victim with the drug before robbing him or taking him on a ‘millionaire’s drive’, emptying the bank accounts of their semi-concious, but willless victims.
