Richest men of Latin America meet in Cartagena

A number of Latin America’s richest businessmen will be meeting in the
Colombian coastal city of Cartagena Monday for a business summit.

The magnates will discuss the current global economic crisis, its impact on the region and how to deal with it. The businessmen will also study the possibilities to invest in Latin America and meet with Colombian president Álvaro Uribe.

Cartagena authorities are on high alert and have imposed extra security measures on the city’s airport and the city center.

The businessmen are bringing their families, who will have their own social agenda, while the men discuss business.
