Republican running mate to meet Uribe

Sarah Palin, running mate for U.S. presidential candidate for the
Republican Party John McCain will meet Colombian president Álvaro Uribe
Tuesday in New York City, a campaign aide said on Saturday.

Aside Uribe, the Repulcan running mate will meet with Afghan President Hamid Karzai.

Palin, who has been governor of Alaska for two years, has little
foreign policy experience. She is facing a debate on October 2 in St.
Louis with the Democratic vice presidential nominee, Joe Biden, a veteran senator from Delaware who is chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

The Republican Party’s hopeful John McCain visited Colombia in May.
