Valencia Cossio had 1,600 talks with drug lord’s aides. says Prosecution

Former boss of Medellín’s Prosecution Office and brother of Colombia’s
Interior and Justice Minister talked more than 1,600 times with members
of one of Don Mario’s organization, the prosecution revealed on
Guillermo Valencia Cossio’s first appearance in court.

Valencia is accused of having kept alleged drug lord Daniel ‘Don Mario’ Rendón police chart clean in exchange for gifts and favors an charged with numerous corruption-related offenses.
