The participants of the protest will be joined by another 150 protesters in Villavicencio where they pray together. The group will proceed to San José del Guaviare, in the southeast of Colombia, where they will march through the town and hold the “National Forum for Reconciliation”.Groups of people from other parts of the country are to expect to arrive for the march.The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) hold at least 700 people hostage. A few of them are held for political reasons, like the French-Colombian Ingrid Betancourt, but the vast majority is held for ransom.The FARC wants the 40 high profile hostages swapped for 500 guerrillas, currently in Colombian and U.S. prisons. Neither the government nor the FARC ever mentioned the hundreds of other hostages as part of the humanitarian deal.
