Protesters block border road with Venezuela

Inhabitants in the north of Colombia are blocking an important road to
Venezuela to protest against high tolls between coastal city Santa
Marta and the Guajira department.

Organizers of the protest demand a representative of the local government to come to their village of Paraguachon, hear their complaints and to find a solution.

The blockade disrupts freight and passenger traffic between Colombia and the north west of Venezuela.
