Porro music hero Pedro Arturo ‘Pello’ Torres dies

Torres was born in New Barranca (Bolivar) in 1924, but moved to Sincelejo in 1960, where he started the group ‘Los Diablos del Ritmo’. His music made him famous throughout Colombia, alongside legendary Colombian musicians such as Pacho Galán and Lucho Bermúdez.Torres stayed in an intensive care unit in a provate hospital in Sincelejo after being hit by a motorcycle last saturday.
