Police seize 4 kilos liquid cocaine at Cali airport

Colombian authorities seized four kilos of liquid cocaine from a Spanish man who was trying to smuggle them out of Cali‘s Alfonso Bonilla Aragon international airport on a flight to Spain’s Gran Canaria island.

A sniffer dog alerted authorities to the haul, which was stashed inside eight shopping bags in the Spaniard’s suitcase.

Authorities estimate the seized drugs to have a street value of $10,500.

The Spaniard was handed over to police and will be investigated for the fabrication, carrying and trafficking of narcotics.
