Police seize 2,000 kilos of marijuana in Cauca

Police seized 2,000 kilos of marijuana and arrested one person in a rural municipality in Colombia’s southern department of Cauca.

Authorities found the drugs after several men threatened a police patrol and were arrested and their vehicle searched, Santa Fe Radio reported Friday.

The marijuana, packaged in 40 sacks, has a street value of COP160 billion (US$80 million).
