Police offer reward for culprits of ‘FARC attack’ that killed 4

Colombian authorities offered an $11,000 reward for information leading to the capture of those responsible for Monday’s alleged FARC attack that left two civilians and two police dead.

An elderly woman, an unborn baby and two police officers were killed in the municipality of Montañitas in the southern department of Caqueta. Three others, including two children, are recovering from shrapnel wounds in the hospital.

Authorities have blamed the attack on the FARC’s 15th and 53rd Fronts.

The incident took place in the same municipality where captured French journalist, Romeo Langlois was released May 30 after being held by the FARC for over a month.
