Police discovers 70 thousand square meter coca plantation

Police say they found a coca plantation of 70,000 square meters and a
cocaine laboratory in a rural area of Santa Martin de Loba, Northern
Colombia.

The laboratory had the capacity to process two tons of cocaine per month. 

The police also arrested five people. “The detainees and the confiscated materials were assigned to the Prosecution and the cocaine plantation of 70,000 square meters are being destroyed”, a police spokesman told local newspapers on Sunday.
