Police arrest 19 for threatening pamphlets

Police announced that 19 people were arrested in relation to the distribution of threatening pamphlets. 

The arrests were made after the police offered 10 million pesos reward for information leading to the capture of those responsible.

While the content of the pamphlets would suggest the involvement of right wing paramilitary groups, Naranjo attributed their existence to four sources, the first being the FARC.

He also said that paramilitary drug gang and criminals linked to captured drug lord ‘Don Mario’ were believed to be involved.
