Photo book documents Colombia’s biodiversity

Photographer Francisco Forero Bonell’s new book, “Colombia Extrema,” is a photographic documentation of Colombia’s diverse landscape, Semana reports.

The 160-page book brings together Forero’s best images of Colombia’s richest and most diverse areas, ranging from the Amazon and the Andean region to the Caribbean and the Pacific coast.

Forero has travelled to remote areas with his camera to learn about and document Colombia’s biodiversity.

Forero published this book in order to, he says, share the most beautiful and exotic places of Colombia and to promote the work of the Ecoplanet Foundation in preserving Colombia’s ecosystems.
