The thriller is about a Cali gang member who steals a bag full of money from his capo’s nephew and the hunt to catch him.
“Perro come perro is one of the most recognized Colombian films for its fluid narration, the quality of the image and the strength of its acting and music,” the council explained.
It was already shown at the U.S. Sundance festival, the Guadalajara Festival in Mexico and was first runner up at the Peruvian film awards.
