Pereira celebrates 150th anniversary video mapping old train station

Pereira, a city in Colombia’s iconic coffee region, on Thursday celebrated its 150th anniversary with a spectacular projection on one of the city’s oldest buildings.

The city’s former train station turned into “Memory Station” for the event that drew thousands.

Preceded by an impressive display for fireworks, the projection mapping display on the station showed the city’s ancestral, indigenous history, general development and arrival of industry that has made the city what it is today.
