Colombia national team coach Jose Pekerman revealed his 22 man squad for February 29 friendly against Mexico.
The Argentine made only two changes to the squad that lost their 2014 World Cup qualifier against Argentina, calling up defender Bernardo Espinosa of Spain’s Racing Santander and Aldo Ramirez of Morelia in Mexico. A notable absentee is FC Porto star Fredy Guarin, who picked up a knee injury in the previous qualifier against Venezuela.
Of the 22 selected only four play their soccer in the Colombian national league. The group includes European Champions league stars Radamel Falcao of Athletico Madrid, FC Porto youngster James Rodriguez and Mario Yepes of Milan.
The match will take place in the US in Miami. The team will train before in nearby Fort Lauderdale.
