Paramilitary finance chief captured

Colombian authorities arrested the alleged financial chief of
extradited paramilitary leader ‘Jorge 40’. Neyla ‘Sonia’ Soto Ruíz was
captured in the Magdalena department.

The 64-year-old ‘Sonia’ was arrested in her Magdalena farm this Sunday. She will be charged with aggrecated murder, aggravated robbery and criminal conspiracy. 

‘Sonia’ was the right hand woman of ‘Jorge 40’, one of the most prominent leaders of the AUC and in charge of the north of Colombia.
