ONGC says wins 2 exploration blocks in Colombia

Indian state-run energy firm Oil
& Natural Gas Corp said on Tuesday its wholly owned
unit ONGC Videsh Ltd had won two exploration blocks in
Colombia.

ONGC, which accounts for over 78 percent of India’s oil and
gas production, said the two blocks were located in the Llanos
Basin and Sinu San Jacinto Basin.

ONGC Videsh will hold 100 percent interest in the Llanos
basin block and 50 percent in the other block. (Reuters)
