Oil production in Colombia down 4% in March

Crude oil production in Colombia came in at an average of 916,000 barrels per day in March, down 4% from the previous month’s total of 955,000 bpd, the Mines and Energy Ministry said Thursday.

Average natural gas production last month totaled 1.057 billion cubic feet per day, down 0.71% from February’s output of 1.065 billion cfd, the ministry said, citing preliminary figures.

Unlike in previous monthly reports, the ministry did not indicate the reasons for the output decline.
