OAS demands FARC to release all hostages

The resolution is good news for Colombian President Álvaro Uribe, who has always refused the ¨humanitarian agreement¨ as proposed by the FARC. The FARC wants the government to swap ¨prisoners¨ and hold talks in a demilitarized zone.

All members of the OAS, except for Nicaragua, now officially support Colombia´s refusal to give in to the FARC´s conditions and puts the ball in the leftist rebels´ court.
