NGO wants Betancourt to include victims of extrajudicial execution in anti-abduction march

by Adriaan Alsema November 3, 2008

Colombian NGO Redepaz asked former hostage Ingrid Betancourt to also
honor victims of extrajudicial executions by the army in the November
28 march supporting the hostages held by the FARC.

In an open letter to Colombia’s most famous ex-hostage the NGO claims forced disappearance, before primarily attributed to the guerrillas, has gotten another dimension now the army seems to be responsible for part of it.

Redepaz calls on Colombians to join the march so the mobilization “yp be grand and a big christmas message to all the people who abduct”.
