Enjoying the New York Metropolitan Opera in Colombia

Colombia news - New York Metropolitan Opera

The new season of the New York Metropolitan Opera will be shown live in cinemas in Bogota, Medellin and Cali.  

Through a satellite connection and with excellent sound and HD image, fans of classical music and theater can enjoy the following titles: Tosca of Giacomo Puccini on October 10; Aida of Giuseppe Verdi on October 24; Turandot of Giacomo Puccini, November 7 and Les Contes d’Hoffman/The tales of Hoffman by Jacques Offenbach on December 10.

Furthermore, Der Rosenkavalier/The Knight of the Rose by Richard Strauss will be shown of January 9, Carmen of Georges Bizet on January 16, Simon Boccanegra of Giuseppe Verdi on February 6, Hamlet of Ambroise Thomas on March 27 and Armida of Gioachino Rossini on May 1.
