Colombian actress Martina Garcia stars in the Spanish-Colombian film “La Cara Oculta,” and gets naked to promote it.
In a SoHo.com feature, Garcia is pictured in her birthday suit draped in an array of accessories as she talks about the movie, which director Andy Baiz describes as a “sexy thriller.”
Dealing with themes of possessive love, betrayal and jealousy, the slightly voyeuristic film explores the darker side of a girl who has to choose between what is right and what her instincts tell her.
In what’s said to be one of her best roles to date, Martina Garcia plays the exotic, seductive, yet innocent waitress, “Fabiana.” Fabiana falls in love with a successful conductor, unaware of his missing Spanish girlfriend. The story is told through the duality of the two women, one present and one absent, and through Fabiana’s hidden side and how she reacts during a difficult moral dilemma.
The film debuted in Spain in September 2011 and it is playing in Colombian theaters now.
